GOOD VIBE thoughts and How to Find Them

When we think something, we have a choice whether to believe it or not.

Our brain offers us a thought, and we have the option whether to believe it or not. A question to ask is does this thought serve me? What do I get from this thought?

WE CAN STOP thinking something that doesn't give us a good outcome.

For example: If you see your child getting distracted with their phone instead of focusing on their homework, your brain will want to find a thought to prove something has gone wrong.

There are many thoughts in area:

"He shouldn't be lazy" "She needs to put down her phone"
"He is taking too long to get through his homework" "She can't focus very well"

All of these thoughts validate the brain's desire to find things that have gone wrong. And just because they are in your brain doesn't mean you have to believe them.

What outcome do these thoughts give you?

You are NOT your thoughts.

You don't have to believe the thoughts your brain offers you.

Optional thoughts that may have a better outcome are:

"She has time to do her homework and a bit of phone fun too" "I'm grateful that he is doing homework"

"She gets good grades" "He got out his homework without me having to remind him"

These thoughts will bring you a different outcome.

Neither of these thought groups are right or wrong, delusional or truth. They are just options.

NOW...Which serves you better? Which ones get you the outcome you want to have?

I've helped many people understand these awesome concepts better. If you would like help in this area, book a free session through my Facebook page. Here's the link.  https://www.facebook.com/LornaOlsonCoaching
