Failing is the Way to Success!! Swing Batter Swing!

When a coach throws you practice pitches, you can swing at every one.

 Swing at every pitch! 

 The coach isn't trying to strike you out and nobody is counting balls on the coach. Your coach is on your side.

 The reason the coach is throwing practice pitches is so that you'll get good at connecting with the ball.

 This is similar to trying anything new! 

 And just like a coach, God is on your side. 

 He's not trying to strike you out. Hes not trying to beat you down. 

 His motivation is always to benefit you. 

 So what can you do? Keep swinging. Keep trying. 

 Keep it up even if you feel like you're not that good. 

 Because eventually you'll really connect and start finding that sweet spot where it all comes together. 

 You'll gain confidence and swing harder. 

 Success comes as you swing!

 You'll find your happiness comes as you are giving it everything and swinging with all your heart!

Here is my take... Black lives matter! For sure. I love my black friends. They are wonderful people and they matter to me so much!! Reset button...Now What? Here's some ideas

If the world had a reset button, it could be named COVID-19. Modern living has become very efficient. We are blessed with so many conveniences. But then COVID-19 comes and removes all sports, vacations, schools, dining out, movies, shopping, work (for some), visiting friends and family, and even going to the dentist, what do we have left? We have our families and lots of time. Hasn't there been times when this is what you wanted? A chance at doing nothing for a while? In reality, we are not made for stagnation. We are made for progression. Here's a few interesting questions to ask yourself to help you not be stagnant during this time: With so much being taken away, what is one thing I've thought of doing someday that I could try now? (Don't say I don't know. Make your mind find an answer. Or ask yourself, what if I did know?) What is one really great thing I can be doing with my time right now?   We see things as we are - our experiences, our beliefs, our traditions and our insecurities. All of these things play into how we think and ultimately how we feel and act. This happened to me. I had booked a speaker for a large event. I was excited and had told others about it. Then this morning I got on the speaker's website to get bio information and a picture for advertising and noticed that my event was not on the calendar and a different event was scheduled for that day instead! I was sure this speaker had double booked and that I would be getting the shaft! I was stressed. I was placing blame. I wasn't sure how to proceed.  I sent an email to the presenter noting that we were not on the event schedule and asked for clarification (the whole time assuming that we wouldn't be able to have her at our event).
