What do people think about us??

Sometimes we want to control what other people think about us. We stay small or go big trying to change their opinion of us. We do it all for them and their approval of us.

What if what we did was NOT focused on how they would think of us, but only on what we would think of ourselves?

What would we do differently if this was our focus?

We’d still do some very outgoing and kind things for others, we’d be loving and fun but we would do this for ourselves, not for others. It’s a slight shift that makes a huge difference.

In accepting ourselves, we’ve gained the whole world!

Truth is, the only business worth worrying about IS our own business.

Let others think whatever they want, because we really can’t control what they think anyway. They think about things from their experience in life, and we can try and try but never succeed in controlling what they think about us. And it can be exhausting!

Refocus…Make the shift. It feels so freeing! When we understand that we are in charge of loving ourselves and we are the best ones to do it, then our focus is concentrated on only changing ourselves. That’s all we have control over and that’s where we can get the most out of our effort.

So what do you think about you? How do you talk to yourself in your mind? Are you your best friend? Or worst critic? Practice being YOUR own best friend and find reasons everyday why you truly love you.

If you’d like more clarity on how to do this, check out my facebook page and sign up for a free mini-session. I’d love to work with you. Space is limited, so check it out today. https://www.facebook.com/LornaOlsonCoaching
